400 WORDS CLOSE TO A PANIC ATTACK...

I write this post with tears welled up in my eyes. I'm about 400 words away from getting a panic attack but still I moan. I moan for a people who are living a life so outside of God, and yet they do not know what they are doing! I moan for my friends, the very ones who congratulate me for "the awesome blog you've got going on", yet they are the very ones posting pictures on social media platforms of themselves doing unimaginable things.
I moan for the young women of Kenya who engage in ungodly forms of dancing and binge drinking during weekends under the cloud of 'You Only Live Once (YOLO)'. I moan for them for they do not realise what they are doing to their bodies; the very bodies they claim to be the 'temple of the Holy Spirit'. I moan that these women do not realize that they are beautiful beings created by the one with all the Might, and that they are not 'hot girls to be loved only for a night'!
Today, I have a heavy heart for the people who live ungodly lives because they think "It's too early to get saved". I moan because these are the same people who misuse God's Grace; disobeying His commands yet calling upon His very name in times of fear and dismay. I moan because they go to church on Sundays but yet on Monday they live their lives as normally as they did on Saturday. I moan because they know of the Word of God but yet they make a strong decision not to live by it! As a certain Christian rapper says: "You've been potty-trained but you're still a bed-wetter".  I moan because the person reading this is probably just getting excited by the reality of my statements and the word-play involved, but has no plans of changing his/her life.

I grieve because preachers and pastors all over the world are more concerned with preaching prosperity to the masses than they are to preaching about Jesus' death and resurrection. I grieve because these so-called "shepherds of the flock" find it more 'in-tune' to preach about "God's plan of success and blessings in your life" than they do to preach on the essential "Death & Resurrection of Christ for our sins". I grieve because the more important, most crucial message of Jesus' love for us has been deemed obsolete and has been replaced with preachings on "How to Pray & Get Rich". I grieve because these preachers have fooled the masses into believing that Jesus is some sort of lottery ticket. I grieve because these pastors fail to realize that if you go to Jesus for the money; then Jesus really isn't your God, money is!

I cry because some people believe that it is sufficient for them to accept that there is a God somewhere, and to believe that is good enough for them. I cry because they don't know of James 2.19: "19 You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe thatand shudder." I truly moan because they fail to realize that acknowledging that there is a God is not sufficient to take them to Heaven.
I moan because some people claim to know God, claim to respect Him and to be His child, but yet they continue to sin. I moan because they don't know of 1 John 3.10: "10 This is how we know who the children of God are and who the children of the devil are: Anyone who does not do what is right is not God's child, nor is anyone who does not love their brother and sister." And of 1 John 1.5-6: "5 This is the message we have heard from him and declare to you: God is light; in him there is no darkness at all. 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth."

And so today, it is my humble prayer that all to whom this post has reached shall be transformed in the mind, and transformed in the soul. It is my prayer that this message shall not pass any person by, and that this message shall not fail to reach as many people as it can! That God's love shall not be forgotten; that His Grace shall never be misused, and that His mercy shall no longer be taken for granted. God bless you all!

  4. Godly sorrow beings repentance that leads to salvation and leaves no regret, but wordly sorrow brings death.

    1Cor 7:10

I'm amazed at the courage you have to speak the truth and I sincerely hope that whoever reads this shall be eager to repent and go back to the High place. At His feet.
