DOXOLOGY

Hello, my good friend. Hope you’ve been well since we last interacted.

This past week on my social media platforms, I did a weeklong picture gallery focussing on the Doxology found in Paul’s letter to the Romans in chapter 11 from verse 33 to verse 36, which expound on God’s Sovereignty.
I’ve combined them all below, along with the captions and photos.

“What is doxology? How does it apply to your personal life?”
All this and more answered below.

Enjoy!

"So what exactly is doxology?"
“Doxology is just...just when you...just...express your praise to God...just...” hehe!
Srsly though; this word is derived from the Greek words Doxa meaning 'glory/ splendor/ grandeur' & Logos meaning 'word/ speaking'
ANYONE really can express praise to God, but the only one who can praise Him for who He is TRULY is the one who studies His Word πŸ“– and gets to know Him personally.

When have you purposed to study His Word this week? πŸ‘€ πŸ“Έ: @adam4dcom

He is Sovereign! Great afternoon ☔!

"From the skies to the seas πŸŒ₯🌀️🌦️ and everything that lies in between, Everything that exists in the universe world 🌎🌏🌍 is dispersed by His decree, He's infinitely supreme and orchestrates all things, The One who sits in the Heavens and laughs and does whatever He pleases, Who governs the governments, and establishes Kings, The Prince of Peace who precedes the prophets, presidents, and priests, who guides the plans of man but lets that man πŸ‘¨πŸ‘© choose freely, while simultaneously exercising divine sovereignty"

⚠ Attention! Attention! ⚠ Contrary to public thought, God's ways being impossible to understand does not mean that they are harmful to us.

As He has revealed Himself in His Word, God is personal with us as His creation, and He knows even the number of hairs on our head. As Paul wrote to the Romans in chapter 8, ALL things work together for the good of those who love Him...
Do you love Him? πŸ‘€

"In light of God's infinite wisdom, how then shall we be able to reconcile pain and suffering? 😒😒"
Answer. "By looking into the reality of the suffering through the lens of the Cross."

In suffering, we find God's sanctification process producing in us perseverance, character and hope. In the cross, we find eternal hope from an eternal God promising eternal Joy.

Who do you know who needs to be encouraged by this truth? πŸ‘€

What a solid reminder this has been today; that God's wisdom is SUPREME, that HE alone knows what's actually BEST for us, and that we are NOT superheroes after all! πŸ‘ πŸ‘

"[GOD] knows how weak we are; he remembers we are only dust... Our days on earth are like grass...we bloom and die. But the love of the Lord remains forever with those who fear him." Psalm 103

God's Sovereignty made crystal clear; He does not need us & we have nothing that we have not received from Him. πŸ‘
"From the skies πŸ”️ to the seas & everything that lies in betweenπŸŒ‹πŸ–️; everything that exists in the universe is dispersed by His decree🌍🌎🌏; He's infinitely supreme & orchestrates all things🎑; the One who sits in the Heavens and laughs and does whatever He please🌐" - @thomasjterry of Beautiful Eulogy

The Christian walk requires us daily reminding ourselves that God's ways are nothing like our ways, and that His thoughts are much higher than our thoughts.

The encouragement? That in all His decisions, He does them for His glory and for our good.

"For everything comes FROM him and exists BY HIS POWER and is intended FOR HIS GLORY (NLT)." Notice how everything revolves around God.

What specific steps have you taken through the day to ensure you're giving all the glory back to Him?
Blessed night!

“All things come from God, are sustained through God, & are FOR God's glory.”

Consider LIFE; given by God while in our mothers' wombs πŸ‘Ά, & sustained by God through oxygen we pay nothing for.

Question; are you living your life for His glory? πŸ“Έ: @adam4dcom

All things come from God, are sustained through God, & are FOR God's glory.

Consider His Word πŸ“– ; written by 46 men inspired by God, sustained in its authenticity through years of persecution ⚔πŸ”«πŸ—‘, God-glorifying in every word.

Have you connected with His Word this week πŸ”¬πŸ“– ? πŸ“Έ: @adam4dcom

All things come from God, are sustained through God, & are FOR God's glory.

Consider CHRIST; given by God (John3.16 vibes), comes into our hearts through God's call (John6.37 manenos), glorifies God ultimately (John5.19).

Have you accepted Christ? If no, what are you waiting for?

Finally...

All things come from God, are sustained through God & are FOR God's glory
Consider PRAYER; God Himself gives us the privilege to speak to Him πŸ—£️, we pray in Jesus Name, all glory goes back to Him.
When was the last time you took special time to pray? πŸ“Έ: @adam4dcom

Thasss all folks!

It’s my earnest desire that you have enjoyed the photos and more importantly, been encouraged and/ or challenged by them.

There is no one like God and I’m fully convinced that just as He says in his Word, He is faithful to reveal Himself to anyone who seeks Him out of a pure heart. Moreover, the Good, Good Father never chases away anyone who comes to Him.

Do believe and pray that He may reveal Himself to you.

Also, please do share this with a friend, colleague, or someone who would benefit from it, all to the glory of the Most High One.

Feel free to follow me on Facebook or Instagram, just in case I do another week’s posting. My Twitter is mainly for the times I try to be funny or to follow what new thing Trump has said, so you don’t really have to bother about that one. 

Until next time, be blessed!

Soli Deo Gloria!

    1. Thanks a lot for the feedback, brother.
Yes indeed. In fact, doxology is simpler to the young ones. The challenge is for us as the adults to look beyond our seemingly 'great' troubles and focus on God's supremacy. What a challenge for us!

Thanks again for taking your time.
      Baraka!
